Summer is officially here, and while our students enjoy a well‑earned break, June brings several important steps to help everyone prepare for the 2026–2027 school year. From gear sales to DCI tickets, volunteer opportunities, and getting connected to the Band Google Calendar, this month is all about setting up for a smooth start when rehearsals begin in July.

👕 Order Band/Guard Gear by June 25!

Band and guard gear sales for the 2026–2027 season are officially open. This year’s set features fresh designs, so don't forget to order a few items for yourself – including the new show shirt!

🎺 DCI — Drum Corps International

DCI season is here! Drum Corps International is the premier summer marching‑music circuit, featuring elite ensembles that perform high‑energy shows with brass, percussion, and choreography at a professional level. Students and families are encouraged to attend local events this summer to experience world‑class performances and get inspired for the season ahead.

🏈 ’26–’27 Football Program Ads & Senior Shoutouts

Support your student — and support the Plano Band! The 2026 Football Program is now selling personal ads and senior shoutouts that will appear in all six home game programs next season.

The football boosters generously provide the band with complimentary program pages and cover features each year, and this is their only fundraiser. Purchasing an ad is a great way to show appreciation for their partnership.

Plano Band receives a portion of every band ad and shoutout sold.

We’re building a strong, supportive community— and we want you to join the fun!

Whether it’s chaperoning, hospitality, fundraising, or logistics, there’s a place for you. We'll share more on all the fun and rewarding volunteer opportunities opening up later this summer.

VOLY application opens mid-July

All volunteers must complete the PISD VOLY application each year.
Please plan to complete your 2026–2027 VOLY approval in mid‑July so you’re ready for summer band and fall events.

You will receive periodic communications from PSHS Band Boosters throughout the year. Learn more about who we are and what we do.
